Located in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, the residential community of Arbour Lake was founded in 1992. Today, the community is bound to the north by Country Hills Boulevard, Crowchild Trail to the south, Nose Hill Drive to the east and Stoney Trail to the west. Residents of the Arbour Lake community are served by the Arbour Lake Community Association, which represents the community in civic matters and develops community programs, sports and social functions. The community centre, which is capable of holding up to 125 people within the main hall, features game rooms, meeting rooms and a standard kitchen. The centre also hosts activities such as a community seniors program, youth sports and child care services.
