To meet the demand for new families in West Springs, the Calgary Board of Education recently opened West Springs School for students in kindergarten to Grade 4. Separate school students attend Joan of Arc or St. Michael (French Immersion) Catholic Elementary and Junior High Schools. There are several middle schools for public students with bus available and transit options – Vincent Massey and Bishop Pinkham. High school students attend Ernest Manning, the closest senior high school to the area, or they may also choose Central Memorial. Catholic students attend Bishop Carroll or St. Mary’s Senior High School.
West Spring is very close to many of Calgary’s finest private schools, such as Webber Academy, the Calgary International French School and Rundle College.
Mount Royal University and Ambrose University College are also located in Calgary West.
