Some of the facilities found within the community include a water park, tennis courts and a hockey rink. All of these facilities can be found within the New Brighton Club, which is a private resident's association recreation facility that also features studio space and banquet facilities.
Elementary-aged children whose parents are interested in homes for sale in the New Brighton community may also attend the public schools of Acadia, David Thompson and Sam Livingston or the Catholic schools of St. Albert the Great and St. Cecilia. Both Sam Livingston and St. Cecilia offer a French Immersion program, with Acadia serving only Kindergarten through fourth grade students and David Thompson serving fifth and sixth grade students. Junior high schools serving the community include the public schools of David Thompson and Fairview and the Catholic schools of St. Matthew and St. Albert the Great, with both Fairview and St. Matthew offering French Immersion programs.
