These two communities are bordered to the north by Fish Creek Provincial Park, to the south by 162 Avenue SW, to the east by Fish Creek Boulevard and to the west by 37 Street SW.

Thanks to its proximity to Fish Creek Provincial Park, the new suburban residential neighbourhood of Evergreen provides its residents with access to a wide array of outdoor recreational opportunities.Offering nearly 2,300 acres of recreational space, Fish Creek Provincial Park is one of the largest urban parks in North America. Here, residents of the Evergreen community can enjoy biking, running and picnicking on a year-round basis. Madeleine D-Houet also offers a French Immersion program. Just as many elementary schools serve the community of Evergreen, the same is true of junior high schools. Three public junior high schools serve the community, including Woodman, Harold Panabaker and Elboya. Both Harold Panabaker and Elboya offer French Immersion programs, with Harold Panabaker serving 7th and 8th grade students and Elboya serving 9th grade students.
