Get started with a conversation today about your real estate needs in Dover Glen and the Calgary real estate market.
Despite having been annexed in 1961, the community of Dover Glen was not established until 1971. The development, which is located north of West Dover, is located to the east of 36 Street, to the west of Deerfoot Trail and to the south of Peigan Trail within the Dover community. Thanks to the location of the Dover Glen community, residents enjoy easy access to the Bow River, the Inglewood Golf Course and pathways along the river that provide access to the city's pathway system. Along 17 Avenue and 36 Street, residents can find a wide variety of entertainment, shopping, restaurant and recreational opportunities. Residents also enjoy excellent views of the Rocky Mountains as well as the city.
Closer to home, residents of the Dover Glen community also enjoy access to a number of recreational facilities, activities and community events. Regular events that occur within the community include darts, shuffleboard, game nights, pool, soccer, hockey and t-ball. The community centre, which is capable of holding up to 240 people within the main hall, also regularly hosts activities such as jellybean dances, Boy Scouts and Girl Guides. Recreational facilities provided by the community association include a hockey rink and sports fields.
