Cranston Homes For Sale
Served by the Marquis De Lorne Community Association (MDLCA), the community of Cranston provides its residents with easy access to the Downtown Calgary area while still providing them with plenty of recreational opportunities within the community. As a multi-community community centre, the MDLCA serves Cranston as well as the communities of Copperfield, Mahogany and McKenzie Towne. As such, the community association covers an area that encompasses the area bound to the north by McIvor Boulevard, to the south by Marquis de Lorne Trail, to the east by TUC and to the west by 42 Street SE.
As part of the community association's vision statement to provide a "safe and caring community through the engagement of residents in community planning, social and recreational activities," the MDLCA offers a variety of activities and events for Cranston residents to enjoy. Many of these events take place in the community centre, which is capable of holding up to 50 people in its main hall. The community centre also features a sound system, an indoor fireplace and two meeting rooms.
