Carrington is a brand new community located in Calgary's Northwest with expansive mountain views to the west. Carrington, once completed, will be one of the largest communities in the North zone of Calgary. The master plan is a unique community with the focus for it to be walkable with destinations that appeal to the active family lifestyle. There will be a green corridor and pathway system that will run through the entire community (over 138 km). Carrington will be home to over 29 acres of park spaces and environmental reserve as well as 19 acres of stormwater ponds.
Residential homes with a collection of Townhomes, Rear Lane Duplexes and Single Family, both with front and rear garages. Carrington sales started in 2016, will take an estimated 10 years to complete, and when completed, the community will consist of more than 3,400 homes.
A re-naturalized wetland includes a walking path and lookouts facing the Rockies. A future school site and commercial centre starting construction Spring 2022 will put education, restaurants, shops and employment opportunities at residents' doorsteps.
